War Update #3 – Sep 5 2008 2200 by Dani

We were all laughing and called the kids back after the guys had covered up. They really had fun teasing them.

We were all sharing stories and Red finally came out from the shower room. She said she was still cold and was not sure she would ever be amorous again. gB asked what that meant and Liz, before anyone could stop her said ‘wanting sex’.

gb blushed and said she was sure that was not true. We all laughed even harder.

Moms decided we would hold them prisoner until morning unless they figure out a way to take back control.

The classmates decided to go to sleep. It was their normal sleep time and then they would take over guard duty at midnight.

The rest of us all took turns guarding our prisoners. It was getting cool in the boat house manning the ‘water gun’. Moms broke out the snowmobile suits and masks. We were snug as could be.

Once Stubby tried to sneak around the lower deck hanging outside the boat and B got him right in the face with a blast. He retreated quickly.

Then Lisa thought of something. The boat has several batteries for emergency power. They are good for four hours and once the voltage drops to a certain level, the generator automatically fires up to recharge them.

Even though they could not heat the boat on batteries, they would still have some lights and a little refrigeration.

Summer retrieved her pull over hooded sweat shirt she had worn during her part of the attack and pulled four Crown Royal velvet bags from the pockets.

When Moms opened them they laughed and laughed. Summer had got the master keys and the keys to the electric and engine room but remembered that almost every door had a lock and knew where the masters were.

She also knew that almost every cabin door, cabinet door, fridge door and many others had locks with keys. She made the rounds locking and grabbing almost every key on the boat.

There are two master cabinets with duplicate keys to the whole boat. She emptied them, locked them and took their keys.

She had even raided the engine room and pulled the keys out of the generator and other electric cabinets after turning them off. She said there was plenty of time before she heard my car rev up.

She had locked every cabin door except Captain’s and was in the process of locking and getting all the galley door keys when she heard my car.

As best she could remember, she left the big fridge unlocked and one pantry door.

Red started laughing. After our little cruise last weekend, Captain had left some raw fish in the big fridge that had spoiled. He had cleaned it completely out and turned it off with a couple of boxes of baking soda in it.

They probably had no food or cold drinks.

Summer got a standing ovation for her thoughtfulness.

But then sweet gB starting thinking about the guys being cold and not having any food. It made us all feel guilty.

She decided she would make them brown sack lunches. She grabbed Cream of Mushroom soup, some canned navy beans, made a cheese sandwich using some honey mustard that Mom thinks is at least a year old and then cut the sandwich in thirds putting one third in each sack.

We were all laughing so hard at the different suggestions.

She made a pot of coffee but instead of leaving the burner on she put the pot in the big freezer and instructed her sister to watch it and pull it out before the coffee froze.

Mom took it one step farther, she poured a cup for herself and Momtoo then filled the pot with ice.

Liz found some old frozen Fish sticks in one freezer and gave them each two.

I found some very old vile watermelon bubble gum and gave them each a quarter stick, unwrapped.

I don’t know what else went into the very large sacks. Momtoo said Pops has to have crackers for his soup so she put some in – AFTER she crushed them.

Many of us had to make ‘pee’ runs we were laughing so hard.

gB had Captain put a rescue pole over the side and she gave them their ‘supper’. Then she left because she had to pee so bad.

About fifteen minutes later Stubby waved a white flag and said it was a great joke but Pops and Captain needed food. Their blood sugar was getting really low. And all the cabinets and fridges that contained food were locked. Good job he said.

Mom made hamburgers then cooled them before putting them on cold buns. She gave them three cans of pork and beans with an old fashion can opener – the pointed kind?

She gave them hot cokes and empty Jack Daniel shot bottles – you know the single serving airline bottles? She was the one that drank them. Liz sucked the last few drops while Moms and Red gave her very dirty looks.

Liz puked in the bathroom and wanted to know how we could drink that shit. Moms are still smiling. She gave them green bananas and several single serving packages of saltine crackers.

Then Red sent B to their house and she came back with those lunch packs of meat, cheese and crackers.

The Lisa added some potato chips without the bags. Moms put napkins on top and Summer delivered them.

Pops actually told Liz and Lisa to thank Moms. The supper had hit the spot. He was serious and Liz felt guilty.

She came back to the cabin and took a bottle of jack with a bag of ice. Then she got three big parkas out of the closet and lowered the gang plank long enough to put it all on the deck. Now she feels better. Actually we all do.
