BB (Liz) has become a hit around here. She is a real comedian but can turn into the sweetest girl ever put on this earth.

She is extremely smart and almost has a photographic memory. She said her Mom messed that up for her – Mom’s genes screwed with her father’s and she does not remember everything, just most of it.

On a side note: Stubby has a photographic memory? That would explain how is able to carve with such detail – that is how he remembers it.

She is also a big hit at school. B said there is one teacher the entire school hates. She is very young but a religious nut. Very strict and insists she is never wrong even when it is apparent.

About five minutes into class the teacher was mapping functions on the whiteboard. First day of class, hitting the heavy stuff. The teacher drew something and BB told her she was wrong – that was not the curve a polynomial creates.

The teacher asked how long BB had been teaching and she said she had probably tutored longer then she had taught. B said the teacher asked for it with her tone.

The teacher invited BB up to the board to prove her wrong. So BB did. The teacher was not happy.

A little later they had moved on to a different topic of proofing Theorems. The teacher spouted out some rule and Liz corrected her.

Liz was sent to the counselor’s office for a better understanding of classroom rules.

Liz won the argument and was returned to the classroom. The counselor asked to talk to the teacher and the teacher came back in tears, gathered her stuff sniffling the whole time like a baby according to B, and left.

The counselor took over the class. About ten minutes in Liz asked why she had solved a problem a certain way and the counselor asked Liz to show a different way.

The students all said Liz’s method made more sense. The counselor asked Liz to stop by her office. B was worried she was in trouble.

The counselor wants BB to tutor this semester and to take a test to ‘skip’ this class and join the advanced class. Liz said her old school only had remedial classes, no advanced classes.

Stubby was grinning and beaming with pride at his daughter. A little later she asked if I thought she had impressed her father – I told her she had impressed everyone. She smiled and hoped she could keep it up.

I told her that if she was having problems with any of the guys around here, just stick her boobs out and any intellectual problems would be solved.

She tried it later while playing chess with Pops. He asked what she was doing and she told him what I said.

Pops told me that he and I needed to have a talk about appropriateness. Annie unbuttoned the front of her blouse, winked at Liz and bent over in front of Pops.

Liz called him a dirty old man – but she was also jealous – no man or boy had ever stared that long at her boobs. Annie said that was because she was not legal yet.

Stubby stood up and told all adults that his daughter was not quite 16 and did not need this type of advice. He was dead serious.

And the next thing I did was pee my pants – I’ll explain.

Liz put Pops in checkmate and told me I was right, it worked, just not with her boobs. Then she turned to Annie and said thanks. Then she got up and walked to her dad, took his hand and started to lead him away.

She said over her shoulder that her and dad would be busy, maybe for the rest of the day. She had to have “the talk” with him. He was behind the times. Stubby stopped dead and the look on his face – I peed my pants.

Lisa was right on my heels to the bathroom. That girl can be hilarious.
