Just about an hour to go.

Stubby was real impressed with the decorations. Said some girl was really lucky. Then he went to help Cheese with his BBQ pit.

Lisa said she told him what kind of car Liz had picked out and she had pushed him right past the shiny car with the bow around it but he never said anything.

She said he has been distracted and she is not sure why. Some things he has said just don’t add up but she figures she is just missing something.

The soda, beer and ice showed up a little while ago. The local beer distributor loaned Pops all the tubs and the big trough sitting on the deck. He brought guys with him to restock everything.

Captain was really impressed. Most everyone is up and had some sort of light breakfast. No hot toddies today since we figure most of us will start with beer at lunch and end with the good stuff when all the kids go home right before supper.

We are having two parties: a community party from noon to five then a private party for family and close friends only.

The pool boys were here early this morning to get the pool ready. Pops told them the girls would not be here until noon. He wants to delay his guard work for a couple of hours.

The sheriff showed up for coffee and to figure out what his deputies need to do.

Will and Denny put up construction fence around the boathouse and dock – we don’t want anyone trying to get on the boat or mess with anything in the boathouse.

We also moved all the extra cars and two/four-wheelers over to Henry’s to be on the safe side.

I am so excited – almost can’t wait to see her face. This is going to be great.
