B woke up early and told me she was grounded and restricted to her room for life. She asked if we could talk.

Pops had all but accused her of lying last night when she was just having fun. They had stayed on the deck and watched Pops search for them.

Captain had run into them on his way to bed and warned her she was pissing Pops off –it might seem funny to them but never would to him.

She said Captain was more right than she expected. Pops would not even listen to her – it was like he didn’t care.

I had felt this all before and I explained why it seemed that way and assured her that Pops was just protecting her.

I asked if her daughter had disappeared with a boy and came back with her clothes in disarray, what would she do.

She smiled and said she gets it. I asked again what she would so – she said collect his balls in a jar.
