We had an excellent meeting this morning – left with all fingers and toes – Ha-Ha.

Blackmama told us the last time she had hers done was when she almost got married – Huh?

Red and I talked without talking – if you know what I mean – since we both knew what had happened she could share her feelings without directly referencing the details.

All the girls wanted to know what we were talking about – Red told them to fantasize – some of the ‘things’ they thought we were talking about were hilarious – butthole waxing (OUCH) – ball waxing – back waxing. I have no idea what we said that would make them think of waxing.

The office is running beautifully thanks to my hiring expertise (called luck). Blackmama can handle any phone call that comes in and has a tenth sense that tell her when to pass a call through or to take a message.

She also knows when she can joke. One of our owners called to speak with G. Blackmama told him that G was unavailable but would call bam back ASAP.

Evidently the guy asked when she would return. Blackmama told him she was not sure – G had eaten some great Mexican food and was in the bathroom.

The guy laughed and laughed. When G called him back he asked how the Mexican food was. G told him it worked great – took care of both ends.

It took him four callbacks to tell her what he needed. He sent her some Hot Salsa from a Mexican store. She got the runs just opening the bottle for a sniff.

Blackmama said to throw it away – she used it on her eggs last Friday and her cast iron stomach had a hole in it when she was done.

G and Summer have found that double-teaming an inspection takes less then half the time and since they both see the same thing they both have different descriptions and can really dress up their reports.

Red does a follow-up and sweet talks the owner or lawyer or banker. Fire is about ten minutes behind her with a fill-in-the-price contract.

Only one lawyer wanted an extra day. Red warned him we were signing at a fast pace and the costs would probably rise within twenty-four hours.

The guy still waited and when he accused Red of screwing him he wasted another day talking with all the clients we had signed. When he finally made up his mind Red apologized and said we had reached our limit on his type of building.

He came in pissed as hell and I showed him the notes from the meeting and the contract list.

He apologized to G and Fire with a few dozen roses and an all expenses paid spa day for the whole office.

He made a counter offer for enough money to make us change our minds – we had to hire five more maintenance and 3 more security people. I am glad Fire convinced me early on to setup outside companies under our umbrella.

And she picked them well – so far no complaints at all. Of course neither know that we own both of them and they keep an eye on each other.

Pops and Captain have the girls again and Fish is with Cindy/Denny again. Still not sure what is up with that.

Red decided she would re-write her story and maybe let me post it.

Will has been on the roof all day with engineers/architects – he got the OK for his tower and now his people are trying to figure out how to do it.

Annie went to the doctor and has been released for light duty – she cannot wait to get back to work. Cindy was to be off until Monday but she is going back early with Annie.

Stubby should get released this afternoon, tomorrow morning at the latest – Lisa can not wait – she has not been home in over a week.

Well almost time to quit for the day. Boy I’m tired. Later.
