Pops saw this at fark.com - figures we might have been lucky. But he blames our tree damage on previous ice storms (there's been 3 down here in the last year) and the last two storms have just finished the damage.. We are WAY down in the valley. We can see whitecaps on parts of the river far away but we won't have any wind at ground level. If we walk out we can hear it roaring and see the very top of the trees moving - sometimes it's scary.
