Visibility was about two feet this morning. I told the teens to climb up to the crow’s nest and they were struck with awe.

It was not foggy up there but they could not see the river but could see the top of the lock. They were amazed to see trees growing out of the fog. They were more amazed that the boathouse was gone.

Fog on the river can be so cool.

Lisa drove to school – she says I drive too fast in good weather and faster in the bad stuff. She almost rear ended a bus and then a tanker.

It was so weird – a mile of no visibility then three miles of unlimited. It took us an extra fifteen minutes to make the trip.

When we enter the school, we can normally look down on the parking lot and find a spot. This morning it was covered by fog but when we got down to it’s level we could see just fine.

Another one of those great peculiarities of the weather around here.

It is also downright cold this morning but last evening I had to run the A/C to sleep – it was too hot.. I do not remember it being this extreme in past years but then again I can’t say I cared.

Our teacher is late – must be the fog – the cgs said they saw NO fog until they got to school.

So weird.

Liz just texted saying Red made her pull over – my advise to turn on the fog lights (which she could not find), turn on the bright lights (which took her a minute to find) and wearing her sunglasses did not go over well even if it was meant to be a joke.

Red needs to loosen up – maybe my post last night upset her. Heh, heh.
