I would apologize but fuck it – it’s not my fault.

Since I last posted we have had several things get in the way of the blogs and sorry, that’s just the way it is.

I posted a story about Annie and hot dogs – I have related stories that I’ve started but need to finish and edit.

But first some updates.

The biggest is Debby keeps trying to push her babies out. Three different times she started labor and all three her doctor stopped it.

Her first occurred two days into our spring break. The classmates canceled their spring break and went back to work to keep an eye on her.

Debby is confined to bed in the hospital. The last few days have been quiet but she is very uncomfortable. The doctor has promised to induce labor a week from Monday if need be.

Captain had another incident during the end of March but this time his heart monitor caught it and they cracked his chest open again. He was out in a week with a new pacemaker.

Pops’ pacemaker seems to be working OK now but his cardio wants to replace a valve in his heart. Pops is not convinced. We are all trying to get him to do it but the last two weeks he has had no more problems.

Momtoo is scheduled to have her baby bag removed in a couple of weeks. She can’t wait.

Mom had a cancerous growth removed from her lower back but there is no sign of other problems so we are all relieved with that.

Jeni and William have been trying to get pregnant. They decided to go to a fertility clinic last month. They both had several tests.

When they went to get the results, the doctor told them he could not help them.

They were both heart broken until the doctor told them Jeni was already pregnant. Talk about a celebration.

Will has quit drinking to support Jeni - at least until the baby is born. She is due in December. We are all hoping for a Christmas baby.

They have moved to their cabin for the rest of the year.

I don’t think I ever told you about Red’s kids. During Christmas vacation they met three girls from a family in Kansas and made fast friends.

The girls attend a private girls school in Colorado. Guess where B and gB are now – they started at the end of January.

Red was a mess but Kim and Jim brought some property a half mile from Red and started building a house. They spend almost all their time at Red’s.

Fish, who is starting to talk, misses his sisters and loves staying with his maternal grandparents – so much so he just about lives there.

Red was broken hearted the first time he refused to leave his grandpa but has grown accustomed to his absence now.

She eats at least one meal a day with him and he loves coming to work with her in the afternoon when she is in the office.

He wanted to go see Pops and Captain, his former babysitters when they were both in the hospital. Lisa and I snuck him in using a wheel chair and a blanket over his head.

He was very quiet and now when he rides in a stroller he wants a blanket over his head and never says a word – unless he smells McDonalds.

Two or three times Red has suddenly changed course when she spots the golden arches on our current path.

It is so cute.

So I think you are up to date for now. If I have forgotten anything I’ll let you know.

Now to edit some more stories.
