Sorry for lack of updates – My grandma had an emergency which turned out to be a stupid doctor and even stupider heart surgeon.

River is up – we had to sandbag a couple of the sheds and the gardens and most of the flower beds are watering themselves.

I never have described the cabin but when Pops and his brother rebuilt/remodeled they actually installed a new ground floor. The original ground floor was fifteen feet lower and that area is now concrete and has about six inches of water covering it.

Pops and Stubby are trying to figure out how it is getting in. We can not stop it if we don’t know where the source is. Stubby just sent Lisa to get some food coloring. I figure he is going to find it with color. We have not had water down there in ten years.

Captain took the boat back to the dry dock early this morning – they are going to replace one of the engines that had a tendency to overheat. He said the boatyard is quick – he’ll be back tomorrow afternoon.

While he was gone a crew adjusted the ballast in the dock (whatever the hell that is) and put on new bumpers and installed some sort of electric boom. Pops says it’ll make it easier to plug it in to shore.

Cindy, Annie and Lisa are going back home early tomorrow morning for a couple of days. It turns out Cindy is no longer bi OR she is a really good actress. Lisa said she’d write the story.

Well not much else – suppose to be a great weekend for weather. I hope so, the last two or three have sucked.
