Debby Does Babies – Apr 12 2009 by Dani

Cg1 called with the news Debby delivered her babies at 5 AM. A boy and girl with all toes and fingers.
She said the boy was well hung and had a head full of hair - The girl is bald but screams the loudest. Sounds normal to me.
Debby’s family got there three minutes before the birth. Her labor lasted less then three hours. What a lucky girl. Her doctor did not think birth would happen until eight or nine.
The others heard Lisa and I celebrating and they joined in. Moms consider themselves grandmas and love it.
The best – it happened on my and Pops’ birthday - On Easter Sunday.
How wonderfully perfect.

The Teens – Apr 10 2009 by Dani

They are doing very well, both on the honor roll and playing soccer. B has taken up the piano and gB the flute.
If B gets straight As this semester Pops promised to buy a baby grand to put in the great room.
Liz has started taking college classes two nights a week and is doing extremely well. She teased Pops she only wants to learn how to play the skin flute.
Pops gave her a timeout for 10 minutes in the corner for her vulgarity. Moms were not happy and chewed on Pops the entire ten minutes.
Lisa and I were laughing so hard we had to leave the room. Secretly we both agreed with Moms.
Everyone was here at the cabin for a late dinner to welcome the girls home. We have not seen them since early March.
Red started crying when we heard the perimeter alarm sounded.
B was first in the door. It looked like she had grown a foot and her skin was glowing. She is turning into a beautiful young woman.
They both cried as they hugged – they really miss each other. B went round the room giving hugs and kisses. When she reached Pops she handed him a card. It showed her current grades – all A+.
You could tell was really proud. He took her hand and pulled her to the corner of the great room to what looked like a couch covered with a velvet cover.
He pulled the cover off to show B her new piano. She could not believe.
During this time gB came in and held her mother for a long time. gB s no longer getting boobs – they are here and bigger them mine.
I found out late she has been wearing B’s bra but she needs to get some bigger ones.
I also noticed she had put on some weight. She is not fat but is carrying a few extra pounds.
I patted her tummy and asked if the food was good. She said it was too good. But I had felt something and I pulled her top up to display her new belly button ring.
B had come near me and I pulled her top up. She too had a new piercing. I knew Red was not going to be happy but I was not going to tell her.
Pops threw something as gB and told her to check the 2nd shed.
She had always complained that she had to ride double whenever we went four wheeling. Pops had bought her a four-wheeler painted pink.
It looked like a Barbie car to me. She loved it.
Mom was talking to B and asked what was new. B lifted her shirt holding her finger to her lips.
Mom’s eyes got wide and she pulled her into the kitchen. I heard her raised voice but could not understand what she was saying.
A few minutes later they came back and I could tell B was ready to cry.
She and her mother were talking when B suddenly lifted her top. gB came over and did the same.
I could tell Red was not too happy but she kept her mouth shut and commented they looked pretty good.
That’s when Mom went off. She commanded the girls to tell their mother how the piercing was done.
Red still did not seem too concerned until Mom explained why she was pissed.
Teenage girls piercing each other’s body parts with a pin and block of wood was NOT acceptable.
They could get infections – they might hit a vein. Then Mom wanted to know if they had done it anywhere else and took each girl into the bathroom to make sure.
Pops apologized for Mom but cautioned the girls that she was right.
Annie had pierced my ears very young and I caught an infection that put me into the hospital.
I got my ass beat and was forbidden to see Annie for the whole summer.
So their homecoming was not as happy as we wished. Every time Mom passed one of the girls she smacked them on the head.
Red talked to the classmates and I heard she was going to make the girls take the belly rings out.
I’m sure glad I have no desire to pierce anything but my ears. Annie kept saying she wanted a tongue stud but the classmates talked her out of it.
So our teens are growing into women. I wish they could have stayed teens just a little longer.
Liz took them in to see all their old friends at the hangout. I happened to be in the garage getting a bag of ice and overheard through the door that Liz had warned them about Mom.
She told them NOT to tell them about the tats. I dropped the bag of ice. They all laughed and Liz pointed out they could see my shadow on the garage door.
But you can bet I’ll examine the teens real close tomorrow morning.
One last tidbit – gB peed her pants in excitement when she heard Jeni was pregnant.
It’s all she could talk about for an hour.
Debby is still at the hospital. No new news.

Debby Update – - Apr 9 2009 by Dani
Posted at 8:34 AMThe classmates just paged me – they may take Debby in for a C-section today. Her doctor is waiting for some test results and monitoring the babies.

Her parents just hot here and we recruited Liz to bring Rose from school if needed.
Debby is feeling very sluggish and her blood pressure is jumping all over the place.
She is wishing for a steak for dinner and to sit on a toilet to pee and poop – her words.
The classmates don’t think the doctor will deliver today based on their experience.
So even though I’ve made a few posts the last couple of days (and still have a few to post) if I disappear you’ll understand.
This weekend is supposed to be the Birthday weekend celebration (and Easter while we are at it). If you are new you may not know that all but three of our extended family have birthdays in the first 20 days of April.
The family celebrates all the birthdays on one weekend just to make it easier – we usually do it on Easter to take advantage of Good Friday.
I’ll keep you posted.

On April 12 of this year we lost a very special friend. Captain, who had recent heart surgery, died of a aneurysm. He was preparing the meats for a cookout we had planned later.
He and Pops visited their newest 'grandkids', Debby's babies (see previous post).
Pops said they were discussing how much food to prepare when Captain took a seat at the kitchen table complaining of a headache. He was dead in seconds. The paramedics tried for ten minutes on site and part of the way to the hospital before pronouncing him.
We were all devastated.
On Friday after the funeral Debby's little boy underwent surgery to repair a heart valve. Everything went fine and he is acting normal. We just got him home for the first time a week ago. The classmates took a week's vacation time to help keep an eye on him.
Some vacation - they've been working 12 hour shifts and are extremely tired (and crabby).
On April 20th Pops had some sort of event with his heart. Took two days to get it to beat nice and steady. Pops thinks he had an anxiety attack because Momtoo was having problems.
That afternoon, after Pops was declared alive, Momtoo had a mild seizure and the doctors think a mild stroke. This is turn caused Mom to freak out. For twenty-four hours, Pops, Mom and Momtoo shared a hospital room.
The nurses were so glad when Mom was released and Momtoo was moved to the rehab wing. Momtoo is fine and learning how to use her left hand and arm again. Pops pacemaker is firing once or twice a day - the doctors are still not sure what is wrong.
It is so weird when Pops is giving someone a Drive-By-Fuck and his pacemaker beeps. Does not slow him down but sure does freak out Moms and whomever he is fucking.
William was diagnosed with skin cancer but it turned out to be benign.
Stubby fell out of a tree (a great story) and broke his 'good' leg and a couple of fingers. He is really good at hopping one-legged on his bionic leg (Lisa says it is really a turn on when he has a hard on).
Our semester and project ended May 15th. Lisa disappeared for a few days with Stubby. We thought they went on vacation but Lisa had her reproductive parts removed. She had possible cancerous growths so she had them remove everything.
Her test results from yesterday shows she is cancer free. She refused to let anyone know because of all the turmoil in the last few weeks. She didn't even tell Stubby until they were wheeling her into surgery and forbid him from calling us.
Everyone is still bitching at her for that.
In mid March I started feeling weird and Momtoo thought I might be pregnant. I'll give no details but on April 24 I miscarried. It was on that day when I realized how much I was looking forward to being a mother.
I am still recovering but sooner or later I will discuss it.
So there you go - life gets in the way. I'll be back soon.
